Tijuana, Mexico

I was in Mexico today.  They are doing construction on Constitution Avenue; the road is totally torn up and the sidewalks are cordoned off.  There are people walking in the mud and right through the construction area.

The border wait was minimal today.

new border law:

Apparently, Mexico has passed a law requiring US citizens have a passport before entering their nation.  However, given the high volume of the border between San Diego, California, and Mexico, they have decided to postpone enforcing the law at this border.  The law applies elsewhere when entering Mexico.
