Delta pulls flights off-line

I announced last week that American Airlines had pulled its tickets off Orbitz.

Well, Delta removed all its flights from online travel websites, Cheapair, Bookit, and One Travel on Dec 17, too.

These moves will make it more difficult for individual travelers to go online and locate a cheap fare.  In the recent past many people grew accustomed to going to one of these sites and purchasing multi-airline tickets at often much-reduced fares.  For example, an itinerary might have combined flights on Delta, American, and Continental, providing a cheaper fare than that available from one airline.

But now that convenience is not as possible with two of the nation’s largest carriers pulling their flights from these systems.

It is imperative that you keep posted on new developments via this website or other travel websites that provide up-to-date information on the industry.
