With eye on future work force, firms open alternatives to weak Brazilian schools

Given its rise to economic prominence in the world, Brazil has to improve its educational system or its people will be incapable of holding the jobs available to them in the near future. To establish a qualified workforce, private companies have begun private academies, many tuition free, as an alternative to the present inadequate public school system.
