We are all looking forward to the finals as Imperatriz make references during its routine to such Brazilian classics as Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands.   Amado’s set many of his works in Bahia, the region in northern Brazil known for its heavy African influences.  By prepared for an intense competition this year as all the Rio samba schools seem especially dedicated to winning the Championship!
